A celebration of Christmas with this service of readings and music in the tradition of King’s College,
Cambridge, and join in singing “Once in Royal David’s City,” “The First Nowell,” “O Come, All Ye Faithful,”
and “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” accompanied by the glorious sound of St James’ majestic organ.
The MOTET Chamber Choir will sing carols by Bob Chilcott, Thomas Hewitt Jones, Herbert Howells,
David Millard, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and David Willcocks, and the service is preceded by a 30-minute
prelude of Christmas music, starting at 2.30 pm, by organists Gerald Harder, David Poon, and PJ Janson.
