At the Midnight Mass of Christmas we will be hosting an ensemble of professional musicians who will accompany our choir in the presentation of Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s delightful Messe de minuit pour Noël. The special appeal of this French Baroque setting lies in its use of no fewer than ten traditional French carols, while impressively revealing Charpentier’s mastery of the concertante style.
