IMPORTANT: Cooper Place Parking Update

St. Luke’s Home is reviewing the underground parking needs and commitments at Cooper Place.  To support this review and improve security, all current fobs will be deactivated on Thursday, October 1, 2026 to be replaced.

At present, eight parking spots are reserved 24/7 for St. James’ Church clergy and staff. Additionally, Cooper Place allows other clergy, staff, and parishioners to use scramble shared parking and after-hours parking after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends in undesignated stalls and three disability stalls. If a staff member or parishioner leaves the Parish without returning the fob, St. Luke’s Home will deactivate the fob.

Each fob-holder will be asked to complete a contract that includes the vehicle details associated with the fob, including make, model, and licence plate number. This information will be shared with the operations manager at Providence Living Society, the leaseholder at Cooper Place.

St. Luke’s Home will require a one-time deposit, including GST for each fob and will set an annual fee, including GST for each parking space. The current deposit for a fob is $53.50 and the pro-rated fee for the remainder of 2026 is $40.64.  The annual rate beginning January 1, 2027, will be $162.54. Cheques should be made payable to St. Luke’s Home with Church Parking in the memo line.

A member of St. Luke’s Home Board will be on hand at coffee hour after Solemn Mass to answer questions and collect details and payment for any who wish to rent a parking stall. The parish office has no information about parking at Cooper Place and cannot answer questions about it.
