The Vancouver-based MOTET Chamber Choir, under the direction of David Poon, is leading the annual Nine Lessons and Carols. This service of readings and music in the tradition of King’s College, Cambridge, is to prepare ourselves to hear again the message of the Angels, and in heart and mind to go even unto Bethlehem and see this thing which is come to pass, and the babe lying in a manger.

Listen to the choir sing in the resonant acoustics of St James’, join in with traditional Christmas carols such as Once in Royal David’s City, O Little Town of Bethlehem, The First Nowell, O come, All Ye Faithful, and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, accompanied on the majestic organ of St. James’ Anglican Church, and let us make this historic Church glad with our carols of praise.
