
The bells of St James’ were cast in 1936 at Taylor’s of Loughborough in Leicestershire in England, shipped through the Panama Canal, installed at St James’, and first rung on Christmass’ Eve in 1937. Since then, residents in the neighbourhood of St James’ hear the the them sound every day.
