This Thursday at 6:30pm we will gather on Zoom to read through chapters 1-17:8 of St. Matthew’s Gospel, in preparation for the new liturgical year. All are welcome, whether to take a part in reading, or simply to join and listen. Those who would like to take a reading part are asked to please reply by Monday, Nov 21st latest.

St James’ is pleased to once again be participating in the DTES Heart of the City Festival. On Friday, October 28th at 3:30pm we will be hosting tours of the church, including the iconic bell tower. On Wednesday, November 2nd at 2:00pm we will be tolling the church bells for All Souls’ and on Thursday, November 3rd at 6:30pm there will be a Solemn Requiem Mass in church for All Souls’.
