The Coming Home Society’s annual newsletter is now available.
The society represents St. James’ Church and the Anglican Diocese of New Westminster, building understanding and supportive connections between the church, the wider community, and inner-city Aboriginal peoples. It works in partnership with Urban Native Youth Association and Warriors Against Violence Society which are Indigenous-run services located within the bounds of our parish. The work they are doing is healing the intergenerational trauma from Canada’s residential school system. It is the Coming Home Society’s honour to support them with its prayers and its resources.
